Ring Stones Maintenance and Construction has recently completed Phase Two of an award-winning housing development in Padiham.
The second phase of the Station Road build has created 19 new general needs homes, consisting of 3x 3 bed houses and 16x 2 bed homes. The homes include onsite parking and gardens.
Ring Stones first began work on the new development in 2018 to replace a site that had previously been derided by locals as an ‘eye sore’. Once complete in November 2020, the properties were handed over to Calico Homes.
The project had continued throughout lockdown and the team have worked hard to overcome the barriers faced. Health and safety has been paramount and additional measures have continuously been in place, such as COVID-specific risk assessments, one-way systems, dedicated working zones, extra wash station and increased cleaning regimes.
Delivering high-quality, affordable homes is a top priority for Ring Stones and being able to complete the build during a difficult year has been a great achievement for the teams involved. The development has also created six apprenticeship opportunities and local construction jobs.
