We have been appointed as part of £750m ICN framework

We are delighted to share that we have been appointed as part of a new £750m Innovation Chain North framework of Contractors and Consultants from Great Places Housing Group.

Social value is key part of our ethos and something that is at the heart of the framework, which has been designed to support delivery of new homes for Housing Associations across the North of England.

There were a total of 726 bids to become a part of this popular framework renewal – a 56 percent increase compared to the previous framework – and we  were selected to join the 113 successful suppliers, made up of 30 contractors and 83 consultants. The new £750m framework will run until June 2024.

Assessors recognised our previous and ongoing commitment to social value, work with apprentices, volunteering and technical competence. To be a part of this prestigious framework means that we now have the opportunity to work with other approved partners, clients and contractors to support the delivery of new homes.

As a company, we are driven by the desire to make things better, champion local communities and help to improve their futures by supporting their growth. They have extensive experience in providing a complete management delivery model and full range of contractor services; their varied and ever-expanding portfolio ranges from new build homes and maintenance work to refurbishments and commercial builds.

James Macaree, Managing Director at Ring Stones, said: “We are really pleased to have been appointed to the ICN Framework and are looking forward to building new relationships and also new homes over the next four years. It is an exciting time for Ring Stones and shows our commitment to both growth and expansion for the future.

Helen Spencer, Great Places’ Director of Development, said: “We are delighted to be working with Ring Stones on our new ICN framework. We are confident they will be able to work with us and the clients of ICN in delivering the sector’s extensive development ambitions in the North. We were delighted to have a huge response from the market and receive high quality proposals and substantial social value pledges for our communities. We are now looking forward to mobilising the framework and working together on new projects with Ring Stones supporting us with Development works in Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria.”

Joanne Whitehead, Great Places’ Procurement and Performance Manager, said: “Well done to Ring Stones and all the organisations who have been awarded a place on the framework. We received a large number of high quality bids and we now have an excellent group of contractors and consultants covering a wide range of disciplines to support our housing delivery ambitions. Great Places and the other housing providers who access the framework look forward to working with them all in the future.”
