Ring Stones completes work to improve energy efficiency of homes for older people

Ring Stones Maintenance and Construction complete work on 34 properties for older people in Padiham to improve their energy efficiency and make them weatherproof in preparation for winter.

The 34 properties owned by Calico Homes on Westview Terrace have had roof coverings replaced along with new fascias and soffits.

Ring Stones have also removed and reinstalled PV panels to boost the energy efficiency of their homes by restoring and extending the life span of the solar panels.

Work started over the summer on Westview Terrace and has seen left tenants pleased with the work carried out.

The work carried out by Ring Stones is part of Calico Homes’ 5-year investment commitment which will see over £25 million spent on homes across Burnley and Padiham.

The investment works are targeting areas that have been identified by customers and improving the energy performance of homes to reduce energy costs.

James Macaree, Managing Director at Ring Stones said: ‘We are delighted to have completed work on Westview terrace ahead of the winter period which will help make homes more energy efficient, and therefore help to reduce bills.

We have received some great feedback from customers on the quality of work the team has carried out on their homes. The team have done a great job in finishing this work on schedule and to a high standard.”
