We are gearing up for our next major community‑led regeneration project, one that follows directly in the footsteps of Dovestone Gardens. Working in partnership with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, we’re preparing to transform the former Accrington Victoria Hospital site into a modern, community‑focused space. While the historic building can no longer be safely restored, key Victorian features will be carefully preserved, ensuring the much‑loved legacy of “Accy Vic” is carried into a new chapter.
Shaped by local residents’ feedback, the plans aim to bring vital health services back to the area, create flexible community spaces, and deliver high‑quality homes for older people and those needing extra support, potentially becoming our second extra‑care scheme. With Ring Stones leading construction and a customer‑led approach guiding every stage, this development is set to become the next Dovestone Gardens: a flagship project rooted in partnership, heritage, and the needs of the Hyndburn community.
