Ring Stones Maintenance & Construction is celebrating after successfully retaining its SafeContractor accreditation for the third year in a row.
The accreditation, which is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), is a strong indicator of good health and safety performance. It reflects the consistent effort made across the business to create a safe, compliant and well‑managed working environment on all Ring Stones projects.
To obtain SafeContractor accreditation, a detailed and robust process must be undertaken. This involves submitting policies, procedures and supporting evidence covering a wide range of areas, including risk assessments, training records, plant and equipment checks, as well as the management of occupational risks such as hand‑arm vibration and dust.
The review covers the full scope of the business, providing independent assurance that standards are being met at every level.

Reaching this accreditation reflects the everyday actions of colleagues across Ring Stones. From following procedures, wearing the correct equipment, reporting incidents, to taking part in training and toolbox talks, these are the consistent behaviours which make the biggest difference.
Kirsty Steel, Head of Compliance, emphasised the significance of this achievement, saying: “Retaining our SafeContractor accreditation for the third year in a row is something we take real pride in.
“It reflects the commitment across the business to keep things safe, support each other, and deliver our work to the right standard every time.”
Maintaining SafeContractor accreditation is another example of Ring Stones putting its values into practice. As a business that puts people first and takes pride in doing things the right way, strong health, safety and wellbeing standards are a fundamental part of delivering high‑quality work for clients and communities.
