Ring Stones staff and apprentices joined hundreds of passionate volunteers across the North West to help renovate Blackpool Carers Centre, Beaverbrooks House, as part of ‘DIY SOS: Children In Need Special’, broadcast last night on BBC One.
Since 2005, Blackpool Carers Centre has reached out and provided lifeline services to young carers and their families in Blackpool.
DIY SOS renovated the old building and turned it into a fun, safe and supportive space for the young carers to take time out and enjoy themselves.
To help the team achieve its biggest charitable build to date, staff and Constructing the Future apprentices placed with Ring Stones spent a week working hard to help bring the property back to life.
